This IR Object Detection Module contains an IR transmitter and an IR receiver. It is capable of sensing objects from 2cm - 30cm and the detection distance can be adjusted by using the onboard potentiometer. It can be used for obstacle avoidance, presence detection, assembly line counter, security system sensor and other uses.The module dimensions are: 4.5cm L x 1.4cm W x 0.7cm H. There is a 3mm mounting hole in the circuit board for a secure mount.
