Kauffman's Fresh Gala Apples (Box of 48 Apples)
SIZE
DESCRIPTION
Can you believe it? You don't even have to drive to an orchard to get fresh apples anymore! You can just buy one of our Apple Boxes, packed with homegrown, juicy, healthy apples. Kauffman's Fruit Farm is a family-owned orchard in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Our apples are picked fresh from our orchard and only the finest are selected to be carefully hand-packed into our Apple Gift Boxes. Gala is well on its way to becoming the most popular eating apple in the United States and there are plenty of reasons why! Gala has a glowing red-orange appearance, sweet and wonderful taste, and an excellent "crunch quotient." This variety originated in New Zealand and has both Red Delicious and Golden Delicious in its ancestry. Each Apple Box contains 48 Premium, Non-Waxed, Fresh-Picked Apples. SHIPPING INFORMATION: This Apple Box is completely foam-packed; each individual apple has soft foam tightly surrounding it to ensure protection during shipping. We pack your apple box with fresh apples that are the highest quality we have available. However, apples ripen quickly in hot temperatures while in transit. We highly recommend that you choose Expedited 2-3 Day Shipping (instead of up to 7 days in transit with Standard Ground shipping) during checkout if you live west of the Mississippi River. We have no control over distance to your address, nor how the shipping carrier stores the box during transit (including temperature), so if you chose Standard Ground shipping and the fruit arrives overripe, we most likely will not offer a refund, although you're welcome to contact us about it. To maintain optimum freshness, refrigerate your apples upon their arrival.
