Kunstwinder The Last Judgment Watch Winder
DESCRIPTION
The Last Judgment was created in honor of Hieronymous Bosch, a 16th century painter from the Netherlands known especially for his detailed landscapes and religious narratives. This watch winder features perhaps the most disturbing section from his most famous painting, "The Garden of Earthly Delights," at its base. In this purgatory scene of the illustration, Bosch criticizes self-indulgence, lust, and over-consumption with musical instruments representing evil distraction and large ears symbolizing the deceptive lure of the senses. Due to the color anodization in the aluminum base, the vibrant hues and gruesome details will never fade. As for the derrick mechanism, the scarlet matte finish is achieved with a light bead blast of bare aluminum prior to anodizing.
- Our watch winders run on a noiseless, Swiss brushless gear-motor.
- All parts are precisely machined from solid materials - aluminum and stainless steel - with particular attention paid to the finish quality.
- Each watch winder is individually crafted and numbered within a limited production series.
- Twenty-four (24) pre-programmed modes offer single or alternating direction rotation.
- All mechanical components are designed, produced, and assembled in the United States.
