These Lanparte CFR-250 rods are made of full carbon fiber technology, to ensure high precision and durable scratch-proof rods (and yet very light). Each rod has a threaded hole in each end. This allows multiple rods to be attached. The short rods are mainly for extending the front of a rig, to adjust longer lenses, or to add another set of rods above (good for cameras with higher up lenses). The longer rods are better for packed tripod-only rigs, and also for cameras with very long lenses or bodies.
