DESCRIPTION

Le Chat Noir (The Black Cat) artwork pendant dangles from a bright & shiny silver tone cable chain necklace. The pendant features a scene from the poster art by Théophile Steinlen. Le Chat Noir was a nineteenth-century entertainment establishment, in the bohemian Montmartre district of Paris. It is considered to be the first modern cabaret. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & one inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass.

Théophile Alexandre Steinlen (1859 - 1923) was a Swiss-born French Art Nouveau painter and printmaker.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is one inch round in diameter (not including bail). The necklace is 2.5mm silver tone cable chain and is 18 inches in length adjustable to 19 inches via one inch extender chain. While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
