This is a beautiful natural black lava stone that I found along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Its texture is pleasant to feel, smooth yet bumpy, glossy, wedge-shaped, lightweight yet strong. I corner drilled a 2.1 mm hole into the black lava stone and fitted it onto a sturdy stainless steel jump ring hanging from a real fishing swivel in black, onto a sleek black 24 inch cable chain which is complete with gunmetal swivel lobster clasp and tiny extender. The stone measures 34 mm (about 1 and 1/3 inch). You will love the feel and durability of this necklace.
