This bowl is turned from a big leaf maple burl, a tree which grows on the west coast of the US. The natural edge of the burl has been left on the bottom which contrasts with the glossy finish of the top side. It is finished with a spar varnish bringing out the unique patterns of the burl wood. Also, the finish is extremely durable, food-safe and washable. The dimensions are 10.5 x 8 x 2 inches.
