It is a very famous tale in our country and it has deep meaning.
Once upon a time Masha's girlfriends welcomed her to pick mushrooms and berries in the forest. Her Grandfather and Grandmother told Masha not to leave her friends because she could get lost in the forest.
But of course, she did as she wanted and went into the wild deep forest and got lost there. Masha found a house there lived a Bear.
He was very glad to meet the girl and decided not to let her leave his house.
He told her to cook and feed him. So she began to live in the Bear's house. But she didn't live there for a long time because she hatched an escape plan.
Masha decided to bake pies for her Granny and Grandpa and asked the Bear to bring pies to them.
Good-natured Bear agreed and the girl got into the box with pies. And when the Bear wanted to eat a pie Masha stopped him with a famous phrase: Do not sit down on a stub, do not eat a pie! I am sitting high and looking far away!
And the Bear brought her to her house and she was saved in such a curious way.
This fairy-tale shows us that we can always find the way out of difficulties.
