Midnight Ginger's glossy black foliage is distinctively aromatic like fresh cut ginger. Yellow basal blooms in spring and summer will eventually turn a bright coral to pink. Tender perennial that performs best when temperatures remain above 50 degrees. It will go dormant in light frosts. Has a nice bushy habit. Zones 8-11 once established.
