- Native to the Mediterranean and Asia, dwarf pomegranate is a showy, dense deciduous shrub with attractive orange-red single flowers at an early age, about 1 ft (30.5cm) tall, followed by colorful 4" - 5" (10-12.5cm) edible fruits. Plant is a moderate grower and grows to 5 ft (1.50 m) tall. Excellent for containers or for use in the garden. Effective bonsai.
- Pomegranate is used in eastern dishes, stews, salad, spices, jellies and has a long history of medicinal uses. Provide winter protection.
