- 100 DAYS. Galeux d'Eysines are flattened pumpkins with pale, salmon-pink skin. Also known as warted sugar marrow, is a winter squash originally from Eysines, France. It is a 10- to 15-pound pink-orange squash covered with tan "warts" that are formed from the sugars in the squash skin.
- This winter squash has a unique flavor between that of a pumpkin and a sweet potato. Delicious and richly flavored eating pumpkin!
- Planting Instructions: Direct sow outside after danger of last frost. Germination temperature 70F-85F. Plant in hills of 2-3 plants per hill at 6' to 8' (1.8-2.4m) apart, and 1" (2.5cm) below soil surface. Germination is 7-14 days depending upon growing conditions.
