DESCRIPTION

Here in Thailand where some of the world's most beautiful orchid nurseries are located, orchids are grown in coco husk chips. They are soft enough for tender roots to take hold and absorbent enough to retain a little moisture without becoming too wet. They are long lasting and resist mold. Our coco husk chips are sourced from coconut plantations situated alongside the freshwater Mekong River. This item is 20 mm (1 inch, variable) coco husk chips. We use them very successfully in orchid baskets for the largest orchid plants.
