This is a wonderfully scenic cabochon of picture jasper from the Owyhee Mountains of south eastern Oregon. This one is very scenic, collection quality by any collector's standards. The sky is a blue grey color with "clouds" over a highly detailed landscape of tan & brown colors. You will be very HAPPY with this one in your personal collection. It has a wonderful high gloss polish, AND the back side is polished ALSO. It measures about 38 x 29 mm by 4 mm thick. An American quarter (.25 cents) is about one inch or 24 mm in size to compare.
