Peppermint Lace Crape Myrtle - White-Edge Candy Pink Flower - 2½" pot - 3 Pack
DESCRIPTION
- 'Peppermint Lace' Crape Myrtle, Lagerstroemia indica, displays a profusion of stunning blooms throughout summer. The large clusters of white-edged candy-pink flowers appear in July and beyond. The foliage is dark green or sometimes a deep olive, and has oval leaves. 'Peppermint Lace' is a vigorous grower, easy to keep healthy, and resists mildew even in humid climates.
- This variety is a semi-dwarf, so it doesn't take up the space of the traditional varieties. A spectacular addition to any southern landscape as a hedge, in groupings, and can even be pruned into a tree form. This crape myrtle attracts bees and butterflies, but is mostly about the later-season flower show! A mature 'Peppermint Lace' grows 15'-20' in height and spread. It does best in well-drained, moist soil and in full-sun. Hardiness Zones: 7-10.
