Petri 7 S Circle-Eye System 1960s Film Camera with Case, WORKING METER
DESCRIPTION
The Petri 7 was made by Kuribayashi Camera Industry Inc. from 1961-1962. In 1963 it was replaced by the more famous 7S, which was replaced in turn by the 7S II in 1974. Kuribayashi, which started in 1907 and whose name means "acorn grove," predates most of the big Japanese camera companies we know today. Unfortunately, they dissolved in bankruptcy in 1977. Compared to its predecessor, the 7s is very advanced. It has ATL (around the lens) selenium metering with a match-needle visible both in the viewfinder as well as the top of the camera.
