PhytoTank (patent pending) is the hassle-free phytoplankton culture system. The integrated LED light provides uniform lighting for maximal growth and obviates the need for space-consuming banks of fluorescent lights. This self-contained reactor can be placed inside an aquarium stand or other cabinet. When combined with your air pump, this kit includes everything you need to grow phytoplankton. Since the culture bags are disposable there is no need to extensively clean or disinfect the PhytoTank between cultures. Simply throw out the disposable items and start your next culture. Proper use of the disposable culture bags will prevent contamination. If cleaning is needed wipe the PhytoTank with a damp cloth. As with all electrical aquarium equipment keep the power supply and power cords away from water. Create a drip loop with your power cord to prevent water from contacting the electronics.
