- The Dwarf Fan Palm has its natural habitat in the western Mediterranean region and is being cultivated as an ornamental plant everywhere around the Mediterranean Sea.
- The slow-growing, robust Dwarf Fan Palm becomes in average two meters tall and can easily be cultivated as a tub plant. Similar to the Hemp Palm, its rather slim trunk is covered by brown fibres. The leafstalks are thorny, and the dark-green leaves of the 60 cm big fans are rigid and resilient, and show a silvery colour at the bottom-side. Usually .....
