The bag closes with a solid brass lock handmade in England with quick release magnetic clasps on reverse of the buckled leather straps. The buckles are a decorative feature and are not meant to be opened. A detachable adjustable shoulder strap can be attached to the rings on the top of the case to carry in comfort.
