"Samurai Jeans" is a label spun-off from casualwear brand SAMURAI Co., Ltd. in JAPAN.

Featuring American casual ( fashion style ) and designs, the lineup includes pieces in Japanese sizes and silhouettes, with the materials and details retooled for today's taste.

These are not just merely reproduction of american vintage clothing, but pieces that have been enhanced with casual style. They've been customized to make them suitable for use in town, not just on special occasions.

In new condition, the material has a loose, coarsely-woven, dry texture.
The weave tightens after washing when rinsed and dried. The fabric also develops a comfortable fit and feeling through repeated wear.

It is deliberately used low-efficiency manufacturing methods to craft the body, using a round, seamless trunk. The manufacturing process incorporates extra space in the weave to create a soft yet strong & resilient fabric without adding extra tension to the threads.

Without making stitches on the side ( no seams on the side ), a tubular fabric made on loop-wheel machines. the fabric is woven at a sluggish pace to bring out the natural softness texture of the cotton.

A wide-width binder style ribbing is used for the neck to prevent overstretching.

The cuffs are also ribbed to hug the wrists.

Engimono ( japanese good luck charm ) are lucky charms that carry a variety of prayers such as wishes for good harvest, wishes for good business and wishes for the health of the family. Engimono are often given at New Year events in shrines and temples.
