Spectrum tube (a.k.a. Spectrum Analysis Tube and Spectrum Discharge Tube) is used for demonstrating spectral lines of pure substances, and contains different gases under pressure to produce light for spectral analysis.

• Contains hydrogen (H) gas under pressure to produce light for spectral analysis
• The tube has a 10cm capillary in the center for observing light wavelengths, and is straight form with side electrodes for conductivity.
• The tube measures 26cm, and is made of glass for transparency and resistance to heat.
• Glass is an inert brittle solid, heat-resistant, and typically transparent
• The HYDROGEN (H) gas used is pure, hence the tube will not get BLACKED OUT easily
