Single Piece of Amazakoue 2" x 2" x 6"
DESCRIPTION
Amazakoue (Guibourtia ehie) is also called Shedua and Mozambique typically depends on the location in west Africa where it was harvested. Its heartwood is yellow brown to dark brown with gray to almost black stripes, and its straight grain has an attractive figure. It polishes well and takes finish easily. Sometimes contains whitish deposits. It is used in guitar manufacturing, in the back sides of acoustic guitars. It is a less expensive substitute for Indian Rosewood. Native to Ghana.
