The silver spikes measure 5/16" wide and are 3/8" tall, and they have smooth, rounded tips so they are not sharp. Please measure your dog's neck to ensure that this is the proper size. A common rule of thumb is that you should be able to fit 2 fingers between the measuring tape and the dog's neck.
