This African woven basket is approximately 7" in diameter and 100% handmade by our artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda. The women grow their own sisal plants, extract the fibers, then hand-dye and weave them into these beautiful works of art. The sisal is woven around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle sweetness. This basket is beautiful for a shelf or table display, or to hold your favorite jewelry or keys.
Note: This basket does not have a loop for hanging.
