It will provide a yellowish-orange image and you can use them under magnification and is perfectly safe for use with binoculars, refractor, spotting scopes, telescope, or view finders. It can be used to view an eclipse directly or to create handmade eclipse viewer or solar filters. Perfect for viewing the sun with a camera, video cameras, or even the naked eye by cutting a single layer of the .002" thick material with a sharp razor or a pair of scissors.
