This is what every adventurous boy and girl wants, a toy wooden sword. This great toy sword is made from solid cherry wood the handle is stained green. The pommel is hand carved and the cross guard is decorated with a simple design wood burnt on each side. The upward curving cross guard on this sword is hand carved and tapers to round at the ends. This sword is the perfect size for children of all ages and would even be good for an adult costume, it measures 24" long and has a cross guard length of 6" ,the blade is 1 3/4" wide at the hilt and 1" thick. I designed the cross guard for maximum strength while retaining the elegance and dimensions that a real sword would have. This toy is made to last with sturdy wood and a hand rubbed natural oil finish that brings out the grain and helps protect it. Made by me in the U.S.A.
