This is a handmade top button click action ball point pen made by Placid Crafts. Yes, this pen is made from a Solid Genuine Raw Rebar Rod. The Hardware on this pen is Chrome. The pen is 5-1/2" long. I would consider this a standard diameter pen because the pen body is 1/2" Rebar and both the top and bottom are Hex (Nut Shaped). I call this the Construction Pen. This would be a great item or gift for any construction worker or concrete worker. This pen body is RAW REBAR, It has no lacquer, sealer, or acrylic covering. This pen will patina or age as raw steel will. This is a click action pen with a top button and uses the Parker style ink refill. This pen comes with a Fisher Space Pen SPR Series Pressurized Black Ink/ Medium Point ink Cartridge installed. This refill was developed for NASA and has been used on EVERY Space Shuttle mission both American and Russian. They are hermetically sealed with a specially formulated thixotropic ink and pressurized to about 35 PSI. They are the only refills that will write at any angle because they do not rely on gravity, and have a shelf life of 100 years. Pen #077
