Our 12-inch waxed canvas Dopp kit has double stitched edges sewn with heavy duty thread and brass zippers. The waxed canvas develops a rich patina through use, creating a more beautiful look and added years of protection against wear and soiling. It is fully lined in cotton canvas cloth.. Heavy duty zipper closure with a wide opening which allows easy access to contents. Unlike other Dopp kits made of cotton or nylon, the waxed canvas of this model is waterproofed to prevent staining. Moisture from spills should wick right off. The double stitching and thick, heavy materials are designed to endure frequent use and, over time, the surface of the bag develops a beautiful patina. Production & Design These bags are handmade in my Cleveland Ohio studio. All materials used for the bags are hand-picked to be the best quality and the most attractive available. The canvas is hand waxed with bees waxed to create the start of a beautiful and natural waterproof product. The edges of the bag are stitched with strong cotton thread to form a foundation so the bag can stand upright.
