This 3 1/4" White Oak #3 Common hardwood flooring is great for low budget situations. #3 Common grade will include all of nature's character such as open and closed knots, mineral streaks and a wide variety of color and grain variations. This grade will have a shorter average board length than higher grades and include defects such as: splits, cracks, open knot holes, broken tongues/grooves, and other natural defects. Expect to have a percentage of flooring that is unusable. The unusable percentage of this grade of is generally determined by the individual and their character tolerance. Overall this flooring is a substantial savings and the end result is beautiful.
