DESCRIPTION
Yucatan Rosewood, (Dalbergia yucatensis), found in Central and South America, is a hard, light-reddish cinnamon brown wood with darker stripes. It turns well and has less allergenic properties than other Dalbergia, such as Cocobolo and Honduras Rosewood. Commonly used for furniture, musical instruments and sports equipment. Larger blocks are +- 1/4" of size listed; smaller blocks are +- 1/8". Spindle stock (1-1/2" - 2") dimensions are +-1/8". Grain runs with the longest dimension.
