The Fern Leaf Hair Barrette is a fairly large, just light enough not to slip out your hair and it holds a good amount of hair, holds all of mine and I have medium thick hair. For those lucky gals that have super thick hair it won't hold all of your hair but it can be a great accessory for holding back a portion of it. The Fern Leaf design was created by Earthly Creature's artist Cindy Cantelon, using the lost wax method to create the original design. Reproductions are made in cast fine silver pewter and hand finished by the artist. Once the pewter design is hand finished and antiqued to bring out the details of the design. Each piece will be unique with these special finishing techniques. All Earthly Creature Designs are created in the artist's workshop located on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, Canada.
