This is a modular refractory fireplace made in Italy. It is meant to be built into an opening for an existing masonry fireplace. This unit is reversible: you can make it open to the right or to the left by switching the pieces! A few key points: The fireplace is NOT UL-listed. It will need to observe clearances for a "site-built appliance" or simply an un-certified fireplace. If you are in doubt how this works please show this page first to your building inspector, installer, and / or insurance company. The fireplace is put together with refractory mortar, not supplied with it. Chimney connection is 8", you can also connect it to a 6" chimney by using a reducer, please make sure you or your installer know how to do this before you order. Indoor use only.
