This is a modular refractory fireplace made in Italy. It is meant to be built into an opening for an existing masonry fireplace. A few key points: The fireplace is NOT UL-listed. It will need to observe clearances for a "site-built appliance" or simply an un-certified fireplace. If you are in doubt how this works please show this page first to your building inspector, installer, and / or insurance company. The fireplace is put together with refractory mortar, not supplied with it. The "arm" attachment is for warming up food! There is a removable ash tray on the floor and a decorative insert on the back - both from cast iron. Chimney connection is 8", you can also connect it to a 6" chimney by using a reducer, please make sure you or your installer know how to do this before you order. Indoor use only.
