A peek into the windows of Christmas past gives a wonderful feeling of nostalgia and goodwill. In this window you can see the family in the kitchen, happily creating a holiday turkey and pies. To create these memories, I adapted a 1950s card image and printed it on heavy luster paper with archival inks, bonded it to hardwood, then cut it out individually with my Excalibur scrolling saw. This window scene measures approximately 3&1/2" x 4" and is enameled gold on the back and sides. It would make a perfect hostess, family or friend gift and look perfect on an old-fashioned kitchen wreath.
