This top is amazing. The balance of the top and the length of time it spins is amazing! The handle is supposed to be held with the non-dominant hand on the coloured side. The top should be inserted through the hole perpendicular to the handle. The string then needs to be wound over the top and handle around the grooves. With the wooden stopper on the string and the handle the top can be launched and it spins beautifully. You'll be thrilled by how long it spins. This top is a must have for every kid (and adult). The top is about 4" tall and the whole toy weighs only 3 ounces.
