This trail made me feel right at home with it lush forest full of fir trees, Avalanche Gorge, early in the trail, is a deep and vividly colored red channel with water in the pool that is pristine and clear. A short and inviting hike in Glacier National Park takes you through this magical forest, by the gorge and creek, and to one of the most beautiful lakes in the park where mountain goats can sometimes be seen on the cliffs above.
