Handmade Lioness Totem Round Porcelain Pendant
The 2 - 20 females in a pride are always related as sisters, aunts and nieces, and they hunt and rear their cubs together. The females hunt for the entire pride. The males are the first to eat from the kill, then the females, and lastly, the cubs. Because cubs are born within days of each other, every lioness can nurse her own or any of the pride other cubs. A lioness hides her vulnerable newborn cubs, moving them frequently to protect them from discovery by predators.
