- You are purchasing the 'So Sweet' Hosta, American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year 1996. A beautiful sight in early spring, 'So Sweet' hosta is a hybrid between 'Fragrant Bouquet' and Seedling #462, and is an excellent grower.
- Glossy, deep green leaves have creamy yellow margins that fade to white later in the season. 'So Sweet' is primarily grown for its beautiful foliage which provides color, contrast and texture to the landscape. In late summer, fragrant pale lavender to white flowers will appear. And if situated just right with 6-8 hours of sun exposure, this variety will yield more blooms.
- Its dense foliage crowds out most garden weeds. Hoasts are low maintenance and easy to grow. Clip back in late fall or early spring. Mature plant size 15 in height with 28 inch spread. When planting, space the plants about 18 - 24" apart and plant in moist, well-drained soil. Hardiness zone 3 - 9.
